Recipe: Vegan Freak sandwich


I know, we’re not Monday, but this blog is brand new so we need content in here, right?


You need:

-A sandwich bun of your choice, here I chose a sea salt & pepper kaiser from Metro

-Tofurky italian deli slices

-Daiya cheddar style wedge

-Shiitake mushrooms

-Half an onion

-Chili peppers

-Sunflower sprouts

-Vegenaise, I’m usually using Earth Island Original

-1 tomato

-1 dill pickle cut into slices


To make it:

-Grill the bun with the deli and the faux-cheddar slices in it

-Cut the onion, shiitakes and chili pepper and cook them in a frying pan

-Once everything is ready, add the lettuce, dill pickle slices, tomato, sunflower sprouts and vegenaise
